The Highest Scoring NZ Wines just rated and released by
Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Hi from Matt,
Last week Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate released this year’s hugely important and influential reviews for New Zealand wine. From 892 wines reviewed, the highest scoring Cabernet-blend, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are offered below. I’ve secured as much stock at as possible before the local and international markets snap them up. For example, I secured the last twelve six packs of Babich The Patriarch 2009, the highest equal scoring wine in the report with 95/100 and highest scoring Cabernet-blend.
This is the second year that the reviews were conducted by Lisa Perotti-Brown MW. After being a fellow MW “tasting half-pass” with her many years ago, working with her in intense preparation for the theory exam at the MW seminar in Melbourne, she is well worthy of her role; arguably the most influential reviewer of New Zealand wine in the world. She is an incredibly perceptive and accurate critic who’s reviews can be followed with confidence.
