Hi From Matt
It is with tremendous pleasure that I offer you the superlative Sacred Hill Special Selection 2010 Gimblett Gravels Reds.
The Fine Wine Delivery Company has a rich history with these classic Hawkes Bay reds; I distinctly remember tasting the very first âSelection Seriesâ wine with Jeff, 1998 Helmsman. Jeff tells me that he opened a bottle of that 14 year old, cellar-aged gem recently and it is drinking beautifully. These 2010âs are the best releases I have tasted under these illustrious labels, arguably the finest selection of Gimblett Gravels reds of the 2010 vintage.
Fine Wine Cellar Journal are excited and privileged to offer you the most outstanding new vintage release ever of Craggy Rangeâs Prestige Collection.
Craggy Rangeâs âPrestige Collectionâ are amongst New Zealandâs very greatest wines, many would argue THE greatest. Wine Spectatorâs Harvey Steiman for one, is in the latter camp saying; âCraggy Range is clearly the best all-around producer in New Zealand today; no one else makes such a diverse array of outstanding wines.â
Today you are part of a special, prestige,
cellar aged Chardonnay deal that is priced to kill!
Our friends at Te Awa are working towards their exciting plans for the future, but to do that, they have enlisted our help to move all their winery cellar stocks of iconic, premium Hawkes Bay wines first.
It was truly a privilege to have a private tasting with Steve Smith, Master of Wine at Craggy Range, reviewing the first verticals of the Le Sol Syrah and Sophia. Two of the Hawkes Bay’s finest reds, it was certainly the highlight of our 2010 tasting calendar to date. (more…)
While at Craggy Range, Greg caught up with consulting Chef David Griffiths. Together they crafted the perfect meal to match the Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Syrah 2008. If you like it as much as we did you will want to make it straight away! Lucky for you we have a copy of this recipe! See below the video for the recipe in full from the Chef himself.
